Hey, I'm Rebecca!
I'm passionate about co-designing practical and accessible solutions that gracefully balance user and organisational needs

My work at a glance…
Problem solving in action
From discovery to execution, see how I crack complex problems and balance contradicting factors.

Connecting career pivoters to skills and networks
Changing careers can boost individuals' quality of life. However, individuals that consider doing so are plagued with doubts due to the real risks of doing so. I designed an app to provide career-changers with low-stakes opportunities to develop aspirational skills and industry connections.

Reducing delays in the hospital system
Hospitals lose time and money to the delayed discharge of patients, while patients suffer the long-term consequences of these delays with increased chances of remission. In a team of AI developers and designers, we reimagined the discharge report generation process using the automative power of AI.

Helping festival-goers find sessions that fit their schedule
I identified a critical gap in the Fringe Festival website through real-world observation and redesigned program browsing to match how users actually plan their festival experience.

Reducing resource sinkholes with an interactive tool
Social work practitioners and clients wanted improved clarity on service scope and eligibility, meanwhile internal stakeholders were afraid to publicise criteria. I balanced their needs with an interactive tool that reduces organisational burden from ineligible inquiries by providing users with immediate feedback and streamlined referrals for caregivers and social workers.

I've got a knack for..
Digital experiences that engage users and help your startup stand out from day one
My story so far…
I believe great design inherently comes from solving for the root cause of problems
My approach combines teamwork, empathy, and creative strategy to make technology accessible and enjoyable.
With a background in visual design, marketing and content design, I love bridging the gap between organisation goals and user needs. I am always eager to collaborate and explore new challenges.
I studied a Bachelor of Design specialising in User Experience from the University of Melbourne
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me spending time with my family, being silly at improv or climbing rocks.
